主    讲：Professor Kishore Bhakoo

主讲人简介：
Prof Kishore Bhakoo graduated in Medical Biochemistry, University of Kent at Canterbury in 1978. He received his PhD from Institute of Neurology, University of London in 1983. He completed his postdoctoral training at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. In 1986, he was appointed as a Wellcome Research Associate at Royal College of Surgeons and Institute for Child Health, London.
Prof Bhakoo was appointed as a Staff Scientist and University Research Lecturer at the MRC Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Unit, Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford in 1996.
Prof Bhakoo returned in 2002 as MRC Group Head and Senior Lecturer at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre, Imperial College London, and established the Stem Cell Imaging Group.
In 2009, Prof Bhakoo was appointed as Head of Translational Molecular Imaging Group, at the Singapore Bioimaging Consortium (SBIC). In 2011, Prof Bhakoo was appointed Director of the newly established facility at A*STAR, the Translational Imaging Industrial Laboratory, which worked directly with industry to develop new drugs through imaging technologies.
